Wilshire Dolphins Swim Team
Wilshire Dolphins Swimming is a great program for kids of all ages to join, learn from some of the best coaches in Berks. All while having fun and competing in multiple different swimming events.
At this time events are currently in the process of being scheduled and more information will be added as it becomes availible.

Requirements to join the BCSA Team
In order to swim for Wilshire Dolphins the Following must be met.
- All swimmers are required to be members of Wilshire pool (Please visit the membership tab above for member options).
- Swimmers are required to be able to complete at least one full lap of the lap pool (approximatly 25 Meters).
- There are no specific swimming stroke requirement to join our team.
- Assistance during the swimming of a lap is not allowed.
- We require that swimmers attend 3 practice sessions a week. (If a parent is unable to make this requirement, please contact your coach and we will see if other options are availible.)
Please note that if a swimmer is not able to meet the requirements listed above, we reccommend checking out our Dolphin Development Team. Information can be found below.

Dolphins Diving Team
Wilshire Dolphin's diving team is coached by Coach Barry.
Dolphins Diving is a fun time for kids of all ages while learning from long time Coach Barry.
During the diving season we participate in multiple diving meets around Berks County and do host a meet at Wilshire Pool.
More information will become availible as the diving season nears.

Has your swimmer "graduated" from swim lessons? Is your swimmer not ready for the Wilshire Dolphins (BCSA Team)?
Then the Dolphin Development Team is the place for you.
In this program our coaches will take the time to help your swimmer develope into a swimmer that is ready to compete at the BCSA level.
Our coaches will spend more one on one time with your swimmer teaching the basics of the different swim strokes and techniqes.
We strive for all of our Dolphin Development Team swimmers to "graduate" from the development team and participate on the Wilshire Dolphins team.
Then the Dolphin Development Team is the place for you.
In this program our coaches will take the time to help your swimmer develope into a swimmer that is ready to compete at the BCSA level.

Additional Information
Requirements to Participate
- As with all other programs at Wilshire Pool the participant is required to be a member at Wilshire Pool (If you are not a member please click the membership link above for plans and pricing).
- If your swimmer is not comfortable in the water or is unable to submerge his/her face in the water we ask that you take a look at our one on one swimming lessons provided by our LifeGuards.
- Note that a swimmer is able to “graduate” up to the BCSA competitive swimming team at any time if the coaches feel that they are ready to compete.
