About Nick
Nick has been a board member since 2017. From September of 2017 to September of 2019 he served as Vice President of the Association. Since September of 2019 he has served as President. During this time he has led the charge on many capital improvement projects while increasing membership. He brings an approach unlike no other with a 20 year background in sales and marketing. Having been a former elite level cyclist racing up and down the eastern seaboard from 2002-14, he brings a very results oriented approach. He has also served as the Director of Dynaflo Racing from 2002-2014.
Nick has actively been involved in the local cycling community all the way back to the WAGO and WEEU Cycle Series to most recently directing a professional team in the Reading 120 from 2015-16 under the Berks County Regional Cycling name and actively holding a UCI director's license. He was also heavily involved in the Reading Radsport from 2017-19 as one of the main catalysts in the West Reading Twilight Criterium as well as being a member of the famed turn 9 crew. Being in front of the lights, the cameras and the crowds is something he undoubtedly enjoys and he certainly brings that to Wilshire with making sure everyday is fun for the families, thus our slogan #wehavefun.
Nick is a former Wilshire Dolphin Swim Team Member, a 1994 graduate of Wilson, a graduate of Penn State University with dual degrees in Marketing and Management. He is married to his wife Kelly, a 1999 Wilson graduate for over 16 years. They live in Whitfield with their three sons. When not helping with Wilshire, he can be found riding the backroads of Berks County or trails of Blue Marsh, working on his yard or playing chef, taxi driver, sports fan and tutor for his sons.
